Step One: Log Into Your Personal LinkedIn Page
Log into your personal LinkedIn page on a desktop computer. You cannot create a business profile without a personal profile. Also, you must log in on a desktop model because you cannot create a business profile on your mobile device or tablet.
Step Two: Click on the “Work” Button
Find the “Work” button on the right side of the bar on the top of the page and click it. A box will pop up on the right side of the page.
Step Three: Click “Create Company Page +”
Find “Create Company Page +” on the very bottom of the options on the right side of the screen and click on it. You may need to scroll down a bit to find it.
Step Four: Select Page Type
A page will pop up asking you to select a page type. Your options will be:
- Small Business
- Medium to Large Business
- Showcase Page
- Educational institution
Step Five: Fill Out Basic Company Information
Next, you need to fill out some information about your company, including:
- Name
- Website
- Desired LinkedIn URL
- Industry
- Company size
- Company type
- Logo
- Tagline
After you have filled out all of the information, don’t forget to click on the box verifying that you have authorization to represent the company. Then, click “Create Page.”
In case you get an error message, read it to learn the error. Some common errors include exceeding the allowed number of pages, missing a required field or choosing an existing LinkedIn URL.
Step Six: Build Your Page
